Rarest of Rarepairs: Micro Edition!
Apr. 25th, 2026 07:42 am
Welcome to the first micro!Rarest of Rarepairs. This is a prompt fest for relationships with a very small work count on AO3. Read on; this one is a little different---it's for
- This runs from April 25 to May 15. Prompting and filling will close when it is no longer May 15 in any time zone.
- All works must remain exclusive to Dreamwidth until it is no longer May 15 anywhere. Because this is for a Dreamwidth event to encourage participation on Dreamwidth, please don't post to e.g. Ao3 until the event is over. You may post in a comment here, to your fic journal, etc. Post as you like after the event is over, but it is appreciated to add a link or mention of DW if you do, for the spirit of it!
- The regular version of this event is for relationships with 50 works or under, in English, using otp:true, on AO3. For this event, the limit is 35 works or under, on AO3 (not counting any other archives), using otp:true. It's a micro edition, y'all, we're going micro here.
- Besides that, go for it. Any fandom, any ship, polyamory, whatevs. No content restrictions. The only other rules are that this is for romantic and/or sexual dynamics only (no "&" prompts/fills, though it can be vague/pre relationship/one sided whatever, you get the idea), and that while RPF is allowed, individuals must be 18 or over and famous in their own right. I reserve the right to remove RPF prompts if they are for someone who would be upsetting or disruptive to the community, such as Donald Trump.
- "Any" prompts are allowed. So for example, "any fandom, any/any: true love" would be a valid prompt, as would "Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Anya/Any, Comfort", as long as the fill the writer does for it is for a ship that fits the above criteria. For this event, "any" is assumed to be "any ship that fits the criteria of the event".
- You don’t have to fill something to leave a prompt. The more prompts, the merrier!
- One prompt per comment, please.
- Fill in any medium you wish. No maximum/minimum word count/effort level. Just have fun!
For example:
”Babylon 5: Susan/Neeoma - Break”
“Any: Any/Any - Demon AU”
"Star Trek: Nahla/Jett/Lura - intimate"
Go go go!!!

Date: 2026-04-25 02:16 pm (UTC)When you’re on AO3 and you want to read a fic with just one ship tagged and no others, you can use the otp:true filter to remove results with more than one relationship tag.
Click on a tag to see all of the works that use that tag.
If you’re on mobile, find the Filters button. It’s below the name of the tag, in between the Bookmarks button and the Favorite Tag button. This will open up the Filters menu. If you’re on desktop, this menu is on the righthand of your screen.
Near the bottom of the Filters menu, you can find a text field with the title Search Within Results. Inside of that box, type otp:true
Press the button labelled Sort and Filter, and you will remove all works that have more than 1 relationship tag.
